You're right, obviously. Everybody thinks about sex in different way and the point is not to tell everyone that they *should* all be thinking the same. The whole point of liberated women is that they can decide what they do with their bodies, because telling all women what they should think isn't really that liberating and women shouldnt' do it.
I agree though that the phrase "virginity" has too many connotations to be relevant anymore. Like do we have to have a term to denote who has and hasn't had sex?

Of course, right?
It's either this, or he licks the water off my legs if I haven't dried off completely. Geezus it tickles.
INDIGO AND LIME AND AND VIOLET
INDIGO: what do you think is the greatest flaw in your writing?
I think I'm too wordy without being descriptive enough. Like... if writing were like a cake, then my richness of my description could only be said to get through the frosting and maybe a little of the top of the cake. I feel like there are SO MANY LAYERS that I haven't been able to access! And I need to work on that.
LIME: what are some of the most prevalent themes in your work?
Family and teamwork. I was raised on Power Rangers, what do you expect? I really like writing different types of family dynamics and what defines a family in the first place. The team-as-family deal is always something you're bound to find.
VIOLET: what is your favorite thing about your writing?
Hm. I think I come up with some pretty good plots sometimes. The execution isn't always quite how I'd like it, but in general, I tend to like most of the ideas I come up with.
