Annie: [getting the last soda can out of the fridge]

Aldric: Hey, Annie, wanna know a cool trick? Shake the soda can multiple times and it gets extra yummy!

Annie: :)

Annie: [rapidly shakes the soda can and opens it, getting an explosion of soda in return!]

Annie: [screams and drops the can, absolutely soaked in soda that also got all over the kitchen]

Aldric: [laughing and pointing] Haha! Extra yummy and extra explodey!

Annie: [starts bawling, then runs out of the room crying for her parents or Aunt Didi]

Aldric: [scoffs in anger and returns to what he was doing] Serves you right for stealing them from me...!

Annie: [watching Annora's egg with visible grief]

Ansisa: [running around, giggling, but accidentally runs into Annie]

Annie: [snarls, turns and roars without thinking] STOP FUCKING RUNNING AROUND YOU-

Ansisa: [bursts into tears]

Annie: [gasps in horror, tearing up herself as she stares at Ansisa] I... I'm sorry! I didn't-

Buddy, walking in with a worn expression: Why's my kid crying?

Annie, starting to cry as well: I-I didn't mean to scare her!

Buddy: ... Oh.

Ansisa: [runs over to her dad and hides behind his ankle]

Annie, crying: I always try to control my emotions in front of her, and look! I lashed out at her! I-I...

Buddy: [sighs in exhaustion as he comforts Ansisa] I know... I'm upset about that egg as much as you... Maybe we just need a break. All of us.

Annie: [nods in acceptance]

Buddy: Ansisa, want to take a walk to the... train station?

Ansisa: [excitedly nods through her tears, immediately perking up]

Buddy, to Annie: You rest up. I'll be back shortly. I'm finding someone to watch her for the evening. We both need it...

[Buddy turns and walks out with Ansisa.]

Annie: [slumps in defeat, feeling like a complete failure as a mother, begins sobbing hard]

[At the train station...]

Buddy: I'm sorry to just-Ansisa, don't climb that-Annie and I just need-Ansisa, please! -Can you-

Thurston, over the phone: Bring her right over! You sound exhausted, of course we'll take her off your hands for the evening!

Buddy: Are you sure?

Thurston: Positive. Bring her over and we'll take good care of her. Get yourself and Annie a hot, cooked dinner of sorts.

Buddy, tearing up: Food won't bring that egg back, Mr. Thurston. It-Ansisa!

Thurston: It'll still offer some meager comfort. We're expecting you in half an hour now, you best show yourselves.

Buddy: Yes, sir.

[At the Troodon-Pteranodon Household.]

Thurston, hanging the phone up: Buddy and Annie are having a rough day. I can tell they're struggling with their grief hard. I offered to watch Ansisa for the evening. I know I already have other nephews over-

Sonny: -Bring her on! I feel so bad for those two! It wasn't their fault that poor egg died...

Thurston: And Ansisa can be a handful. I'm happy to give them a break from that EF6 tornado.

Sonny: [laughs]

So in both the main timeline and Human AU Annie survived labor/ egg binding from sheer will to live, primarily to see her friends and family again and live with them.

In the main timeline I see that previous strength completely disappearing as The Drama plays out 😭
