The camp life is fun because all of my campers this week decided that I am definitely in love with one of my friends on staff, camp name Crash. Every time they saw him walking around the grounds or at meals or whatever, they would all turn to look at me and tease me about him. Fine, whatever, it was kind of funny actually.
At one point, I was sitting on a picnic table watching most of my campers play on the playground while one sat with me, and I saw Crash walking toward the Lodge after mowing the lawn or something, so I called him over to ask if he would be available at some point so I could braid his hair (every French braid I've ever done has been on him, his hair is fabulous). My camper gets up from the table and starts running in circles around him singing 'BEAN LOVES CRASH BEAN LOVES CRASH!!' while we talked, until I asked her to stop. Which, to her credit, she did. She went and sat by the teeter totter for a few seconds, while we continued to talk, until she suddenly shouted, 'just kiss already!'. I rolled my eyes and ignored her, until she threw a rock at me and yelled even louder, 'KISS! GET MARRIED!'
This girl is a hopeless romantic.
I love children. I definitely don't understand them but I love them
