poor monty lol, he was rejected by the ghost he was supposed to seduce as part of his mum's revenge plan, was forced to spend a whole day with said ghost and his crush as another part of the plan, killed turned back into a crow because of his feelings for edwin and locked up in esther's home again, hoping his help to save edwin would free him, but it didn't.

So a combination of me not getting the items I needed and being tired as fuck I didn't finish the seasonal quest yesterday and accidentally spoiled myself for it. And so even though I knew what was going to happen as I watched the cutscene I just sat there SCREAMING INTERNALLY because omg.

Just, the character growth he portrayed and the way the Iron Lord music started to swell as he made his decision was just ugh.

Suave stood his ground only by the fact that the swing was on his good socket side and old training kicking in...he still went down hard and lay in the ground dirt dust rising and falling around him. Unmoving except for the light bit of glow from his magic.
