"Not particularly, no. I never had a father in my first life, and later on when I was reincarnated, I was always much more mature then other dwarves my age. I never needed a father to direct me or help me with things at all."

Going to the hot springs at night, Durin decided, was a good decision. Empty, quiet, and void of any irritations, he could relax in the hot water in relative peace. The occasional bat may startle him, or even some noise in the hot springs, which were lit by several different torches, lighting the area nicely.

Durin had just made himself comfortable in the water, naked of course, and had his eyes closed as he relaxed. He'd zoned out so much, that he hadn't heard the approaching dwarf until he was standing on the edge of the pool, standing in all his glory. So when he heard a greeting, his eyes snapped open, to find a naked Gloin right there, feet away from him. 

Wordless for several moments, he stared, before coughing and averting his gaze. "I didn't know anyone else came here at night." Durin said, voice slightly rasped.
