@huxloween Day 22: Rituals

Story is something like Brendol is a member of a cult, when the leader, Snoke, requires a sacrifice in order to summon a powerful demon, he doesn't hesitate to offer his worthless son as the lamb.

He tricks Armitage on the way until he is taken and bound in order for the demon to devour, cursing his father for trying to get rid of him like that. 

Tragically for the cult though, they misread the spell. They didn’t bind the demon to themselves.

They bound it to Armitage. Who now wants to burn them to the ground.

Kylo’s just around for the ride and for getting such a gorgeous soul for himself.

I did something similar to this last year, thought I would do a better version this time!

What if Hux got injured evacuating Starkiller? Kylo was always the priority but at some point Hux hurts his hand. He cleans it up on the Finalizer. He's not bleeding out. It's not his dominant hand. Not critical. Next priority. A week later, still in bad shape, someone bumps his arm and he's hissing in pain. The swelling and bruising is still severe and he actually has a couple broken bones. Before a crew member can speak Kylo's there and taking Hux to the medbay, treating him so gently.

I love this because I love to imagine established kylux, and Hux being so concerned about Kylo that he just neglects to get himself checked out once they reach the Finalizer, refusing to get assessed for injuries because Kylo needs all of the medics he can get; Hux doesn’t even think about himself but when his arm starts to ache and pain when he’s bumped accidentally, suddenly realising that maybe something IS wrong with him

Kylo is beside him in a heartbeat, still weak and still healing himself but sensing Hux’s pain and whisks him back to medbay for assessment, so annoyed that Hux would neglect himself like this but Hux kisses Kylo on the cheek, careful not to aggravate the wound across his face, and Hux tells him that all that matters to him is that Kylo was safe, everything else is irrelevant, including himself

A little something based on @thethespacecoyote‘s If You Can't Make Your Own Husband, Then Store Bought Is Fine, there’s also another fic based on it from NylonRabbit’s called Gingerbread over at AO3 (They’re both really funny!)

It made me laugh and I’m a sucker for Witch Kylo. So I drew it!
