Ilyea’s Memory

"Light grant me one final blessing. give me the strength...To shatter these bonds"
–Tirion Fording
Aurora awoke in the midst of sleeping. The campfire that him and Ily were sleeping around was still roaring and the fire's light flickered and danced as the dry Terokkar Forest winds started to blow about. The night sky blanketed the forest and the stars seemed to poke holes into the black velvet night. Aurora could feel the grass on his back and the silk smoothness of the bear hide blanket they were under. His eyes and body felt heavily tranced, something woke him; perhaps the fear of Ily's situation weighing heavily on his mind; Void poison.
Ily was curled up next to him, laying her head upon his chest. She let out a soft moan as moved her head upon a small backpack they were using as a pillow to sleep. She was so fragile in her position and he needed to preserve this time with her to the best of his ability. Aurora leaned in pressing his lips softly to her forehead. Sitting up, he watched Ilyea as her eyes twitched under her closed lids. Aurora let out a soft sigh; dreaming. She had told him prior that she was dreaming of a child, but Aurora had no clue as to what that could be about.
He smiled softly watching shadows dance effortlessly across his wife's face. He reached over brushing a few strands of hair away from her lips and studied her for a while in awe. Soon after aurora removed the blanket from his body and felt the cool breeze brisk his body making him shiver and form goosebumps. He reached up scratching the side of his head thinking of the events that had transpired the day prior. Auror shook his head speaking softly " Im such a fucking Idiot... " as he spoke he could taste the Arcane she laced with her kiss to temporarily archer herself to this time.
Aurora stood up and glanced over to a small amount of wood he had gathered to refill the fire. He sighed softly taking a few steps with a crunch of the grass with every step until he took a few pieces of wood and laid them upon the fire. After a few moments, looking into the fire he walked to the edge of the a floating island they were sleeping upon and gazed deeply into the nights void. Aurora needed to stay stoic for the sake of Ily... Her loss of memory due to the void corrupting her was tearing him apart and he felt like he was losing his wife every time she laid her head to rest.
Aurora destroyed the rune that was placed upon his skin and smashed the soul stone she was wearing to gain her trust once more, after she had forgotten him this time. She thought that he was mind controlling her, which would never be the case. But better not to give her a reason to doubt him, then to lose her forever. He took in the nights air with a deep breath and slowly exhaled causing him to become slightly dizzy... He turned around and watched her slumber thinking of all the times she had helped him and how she never gave up. He too, would show her the same valiant effort, even if she did forget everything.
At least they had a plan... The plan, was to commune with Auroras coin; which has shown to have anti void properties. Hopefully they could find out what the issue was through that and push back her sickness to release her memories. At least that was their plan... They knew what the next step was, but it was her self confidence that was the issue. She had forgotten all the great deeds she had accomplished and all the trials and tribulations she had done. It would take Aurora a full day to get her to believe in his words and when that time was done convincing, her energy was expended and herself doubt would ensue.
Completing the blood bond ritual, they were speaking of would be equally as difficult, if not harder... As if Ily's anchor to time was not as solid as it was, her memory was just as fickle. It was going to take some persuasion to make her believe in herself and –them- once more... Aurora simply accepted this situation and had no doubt in his mind he was going to complete these tasks. If he had to hire Ilyea's best friend Theron or train as a mage himself. Either way, he felt confident he was going to save her.
