And he fell down the stairs again.
I love how Archie and Betty were like ‘nah we’re good, no hospital’ and Jughead was like ‘I’m too poor but I’m not saying I shouldn’t go’ and Alice is just ‘LOL that sucks okay well Betty I’m taking you’.
So, Jughead's ending Sophomore year summer no friends lives in a drive in.
Summer before college can't live in the house of Betty so move to Archie's where Fred made him feel safe. Yet, Fred isn't there and Mary doesn't care. (So is Archie going to buy the house in 5x04 or where is he going to stay?)
He doesn't even try FP in Toledo because he got turned down at graduation. Maybe reminds him too much of Gladys turning him down after his father got arrested.
So he just goes to the bunker. To be by himself. The newest drive in. He feels alone. Abandoned yet again. By his family and his so-called friends.
His most loyal is Pop. That scene at the end as Jug was there. Pop's face showed it all. He like Jug was trying to justify it.
Jug is a friend, he cares and hopefully one day he will understand he deserves more. He deserves to be loved and cherished. He needs to fight for him too. He grew up almost as an adult and he survived homeless, almost murdered twice but he never gives up hope. Good for him. I hope he never gives that up.
So the ending did wrap it up. Jug was alone like the summer before Sophomore year. Jug could have stayed in a house but couldn't stomach it so chose the bunker.
@anchor-bird-94 i’ve started the thing you asked for, lovely! hope you wanted a reggie/jug bromance in this too, ha, i can’t be stopped with them
“No, no way, man.” Jughead shook his head. “Absolutely not.”
“I feel you,” Reggie said with a casual shrug. “But I don’t think you’re going to get a say.”
“How can I not get a say? It’s my birthday!”
“She’s trying to do something nice.” Reggie threw the basketball he’d been holding at him, smirking when Jughead winced at the impact. “So if you act like a dick, you’re going to be the one sleeping on the couch, bro, not her.”
“Okay, first of all, that sort of thing is outdated, Betty wouldn’t punish me by kicking me out of our bedroom. And second of all, I’d never make Betty sleep on the couch no matter how mad I was.”
“And Veronica says chivalry is dead.”
raise your hand if you feel personally victimized by the latest update of @bughead-fic-request ‘s ‘The Stacks’ (chapter 15), but in the most wonderful way possible. SO MANY PLOT TWISTS
and here’s a link if you haven’t read it yet, because you need to. NOW.
I like to call tonight’s episode of Riverdale “Let’s Torture the Introvert Who Understandably Has Issues with Parties and Alcohol.”
Oh my god I was really into that Betty and Jughead kiss, I didn’t think I would be, AND THEN SHE RUINED IT oh my god, Riverdale, you’re making it very hard for me to believe this girl is actually straight
