yeah!! god, i even saw one today that was like “garnet has been a little too perfect” which was so ???? (not true at all). Like wtf are we keeping ‘perfect character points’ now? are none allowed to have flaws?? or good points?? ugh this fandom

but yeah, i feel bad for pearl because she obviously has stuff to resolve but there is little sympathy for her everywhere. even without this episode there was a lot of pearl hate despite her always trying to improve and apologize

Yikes, that’s really ridiculous.  There’s so much wrong with referring to Garnet as “a little too perfect” lol.  Keeping a tally of right and wrong actions like it’s gonna be added up at the end to determine who gets the best person award or something...I’ve even seen Steven hate which is??  Possibly the most ridiculous??

I’m glad none of the hate posts have shown up on my dash and I’ve seen a few positive posts about pearl since the episode aired, but so many people are really ripping into this character.  And yeah, even before this episode.  I think part of it is that Pearl’s had a lot more episodes focusing on her flaws than the others, so it’s more of that tallying system we talked about :///  Unfortunately I don’t think this is gonna calm down at all this week.  At least I can be glad that my dash is devoid of pearl hate bless
