Being a receptionist, I tend to have a lot of free time where I make observations about the people I work with. One in particular really irks me. When Josh gets on her case about not being at her desk at 9:15 she gets argumentative because she’s been here since 8 because she had to take the bus but she was in the other building. Um honey. Then on each of those days she proceeds to make herself a bowl of cereal after setting her stuff down and making a bowl. Bitch if you’ve been here since 8 why didn’t you eat before your shift. Now it's 9:15, and you're getting paid to eat cereal. It really irks me that he’s a manager and lets himself get pushed around because they're friends. But honestly I think she's testing him to see how much she can get away with.

I was even talking to my office manager about it because there was no one in the department at 9:15 because he's off today and she yet again strolled in late. I guess I was always taught if you're on time you're late. So you should be at your desk ready to work when your shift starts. Not strolling through the door at that time or 15 minutes later 😒
