The Rules: 1) Always Post The Rules 2) Answer the questions the person tagged you in and write 10 new ones 3) Tag 11 new people to the post 4) Let them know you tagged them
Her questions:
1. What is your favorite combination of colors?
Red, Black, and Gold. ALL HAIL!
2. Favorite genre of music?
Country
3. How long have you known your best friend?
Since middle school
4. Hot weather or cold weather?
Cold. Definitely cold.
5. How much money would someone have to pay you for you to rub salt in a papercut?
It's not being paid money, it's how many shots will they have to put in me.
6. What brand is your favorite pair of jeans and where did you get them?
American Eagle jeans. Only style of jeans I've found that fit me well due to fat thighs and no ass.
7. Have you named your instrument(s)?
I'll name one when I'm professional, but I've always referred to my instruments as females.
8. Pumpkin spice latte or chai tea?
Pumpkin Spice
9. Do you live near a train?
At school, yes. There's one that passes about 50 feet behind my head.
10. Do you like dark chocolate?
Depends on what I'm eating with it. My questions:
1. City or country?
2. Flight or road trip?
3. Rum or Vodka?
4. What are some words you live by?
5. If given a chance, what day of your life would you repeat?
6. If you couldn't be attending school for the major you're currently pursuing, what other field would you be interested in?
7. Action film or romantic comedy?
8. Which is your favorite: music theory or aural skills?
9. What instrument do you think is the most important in an ensemble?
10. What do you prefer to watch more: football or basketball?
So I really want to do some sort of School of Music greek life promotional thing, with posters and shirts and stuff for right around the time school starts (or maybe right before bmb has hell week?). Partially because I think the incoming freshmen don't have enough time to even know who most of the greek orgs are before open house, and partially because open house attendance has been dismal in the past few semesters (at least, as far as I've noticed.) Anyway, I have some ideas forming in my head but I don't really know where to get started and I also don't want to overstep any boundaries. I would propose it to CIMC president or something, but not all of our greek orgs are in CIMC and I imagine it being an equal "everybody belongs somewhere in SoM greek life" love-fest.
What would be a good place to start? Does anybody have any interest in this? I also don't have a lot of friends on tumblr from the school of music, so reblog this if you want to share it with others who might want to help!
Yeah?

RULES:
Always post the rules.
Answer the questions the person that tagged you has written, and write 11 new ones.
Tag 11 new people, and link them to your post.

Here we go:
1. When you open a straw wrapper, do you rip it in half, or tear off one of the ends or something entirely different?
I usually rip of an end. If I'm impatient, I'll just grab it and mash one end on the table until it's off.
2. What is the first place you would teleport to when you first get your teleport and want to see if it works?
Honestly, probably somewhere in my room, like two feet next to me. I don't want to be stuck somewhere if it doesn't work correctly. Although, if I knew it worked, I would probably go to a high place. Most likely the roof of some skyscraper. Yeah, I think I'd choose some building in New York, New York, and just watch the city live for a few hours. That would be awesome. I've actually given the idea of teleportation a bit of thought. Wherever you teleport to, you probably have to create a vacuum according to the shape and volume of your body. Otherwise, what happens to all the matter there once you teleport? Especially if it's something solid. Maybe you'd have to create an strong force that pushes all matter out of the way to make room for your body, else you become filled with gas and whatnot. Then again, that matters on how you are teleported to that place. Atom by atom? Instantaneously?
3. DO YOU LIKE COBBLESTONE PATHWAYS WITH SMOOTH, SLIPPERY ROCKS? WHEN IT'S WET AND/OR RAINING OUTSIDE?
Aha, I do like cobblestone, mostly because I have good memories associated with them from whenever I went to Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. Although, given your experience, I'd probably want to obliterate all the cobblestone rocks.
4. What is your favorite type of candy?
Saltwater taffy.
5. What wild animal would you own as a pet (I do not condone getting a wild animal as a pet.)?
I saw a BBC documentary recently on the domestication of wild foxes, and I really wouldn't mind having a fox. But if I could have a truly wild animal (and our relationship would only work because I have the gift of gab and am very charismatic with it, or something), it would probably be a tiger. Yeah, it's the orange.
6. What is one inanimate object that you wish was alive?
Tough one. Well, it depends on what you mean by alive. In a sense that they could talk, or in a sense like flora are alive?, which is kind of passive. It would be interesting to zap random objects to life, and see how it responds to life. But one object... Okay. If it was in a talking sense, I'd create a little stuffed human-like figure (Ugh, but then I'd be responsible for it, in a way, and what if I don't even like it's personality?), animate that, and carry it around so we can be secret best buddies.
7. What is your least favorite work/phrase/etc that you hate hearing repeated?
I should have a list, because I know there's a lot. Oh, I know "irk" is a word I despise, thanks to Erwin.
8. What do you like better: paper money or coins?
I'd rather have plastic, because it's less to carry, but I prefer paper of the two choices.
9. What is your favorite material to walk on?
Barefoot, or with shoes? With shoes, I'd say that rubber stuff they put on playgrounds and tracks. Without, I like new carpet.
10. What is your favorite thing to talk about?
I don't think I have a favorite; I just like when a conversation gets to the exciting point where both people are throwing topics around, and each person works off the other's energy. It's kinda hard to describe well, but it has a snowballing feel to it.
11. If you had only one key to unlock one lock in the world, and all of the other locks would stay locked if you didn't have the key for them, what lock would you choose?
I might be stretching things by choosing something otherworldly-ish, but I'd unlock a way that only I can access where my imagination is my reality.
My Questions:
What was the first series (game/book/television) that hooked you for keeps?
How do you prefer to listen to music (live/surround sound/headphones/etc.), and why?
Describe the ideal setting in which you relax and "recharge."
What is your favorite article of clothing?
When you have wander lust, where in the world (or universe) does mind usually go?
You are talking to your most beloved, and they suddenly turn into a snail. What do you do?
What is your most utilized phone app?
What is the hex code of your favorite color?
What motivates you to do the thing that occupies the majority of your time?
What would be your ideal family to raise?
Just as North's core in Rise of the Guardians is wonder, what is your core? If you haven't seen the film, what is one personality trait you find yourself returning to when your guard is down?
