23rd Birthday!
It's my birthday and for the second year in a row I don't get to spend it with violavision. I hate being away but if I'm going to be in the army I have to get use to it.

Half marathon
First week of running and insanity done! The process of training for this half marathon is going to be fun here’s hoping me and my girlfriend don’t kill each other in the process!
So I really want to do some sort of School of Music greek life promotional thing, with posters and shirts and stuff for right around the time school starts (or maybe right before bmb has hell week?). Partially because I think the incoming freshmen don't have enough time to even know who most of the greek orgs are before open house, and partially because open house attendance has been dismal in the past few semesters (at least, as far as I've noticed.) Anyway, I have some ideas forming in my head but I don't really know where to get started and I also don't want to overstep any boundaries. I would propose it to CIMC president or something, but not all of our greek orgs are in CIMC and I imagine it being an equal "everybody belongs somewhere in SoM greek life" love-fest.
What would be a good place to start? Does anybody have any interest in this? I also don't have a lot of friends on tumblr from the school of music, so reblog this if you want to share it with others who might want to help!
Yeah?
You should be able to wrap your hand easily around the scroll! It's going to feel huge compared to the violin, and the half steps are going to feel massive, so start slow with scales to accustom yourself to the instrument.
