Bless him, got his operation cancelled because he had a temp of 39c... later 40.5c but he was ravenous as he was nil by mouth and so wanted a steak for lunch. Couldn’t be more disappointed when the sirloin at @stockyard_sh was tough as old boots so we sent it back and he ended up with some fries. Poor little man. The staff were great but he was gutted! Luckily we stopped at the Hollies farm shop on the way home and he ordered at the wonderful butcher counter and so they all had ribeye with satay sauce and stir fry veg for dinner. Sometimes being a mum is so stressful like when my wee man is not feeling well. But at the end of the day when we are all tucked up in bed, and he’s giving me all his hugs and kisses.
