"Allow yourselves to be surprised by God. Don’t be afraid of surprises. They shake the ground beneath our feet and make us insecure, but they move us forward in the right direction." --Pope Francis
A memento from Pope Francis' concluding mass during his State and Apostolic Visit to the PHL exactly a year ago: a replica of his official pectoral cross worn over his white cassock. I was part of that 6M strong crowd in Rizal Park who braved the rain, and the majestic sound of the orchestra, the Sinulog atmosphere and Luneta Emcee's enthusiastic cheers of "Papa Francisco, mahal ng Pilipino" still echoes in my mind. #PopeInPH #mercyandcompassion #memorylanemonday

“To think, to feel, to do” (Pope Francis’ message to the youth in the University of Sto.
