There was actually a chapter on cohost that I scrapped in the move because I felt like it left me with nowhere to go in the story and I wanted to write more of them.

Right now finishing the current arc of Better off Alone is the main focus, but after that I plan to spend some time updating other stories I haven't touched in a while before getting consumed by elf madness again.

its actually quite fascinating watching the (niche online) swing from sword fascination to sword hating. i have seen people on tumblr express in a bizarre overcorrection the firm belief that swords were, historically speaking, literally useless, only used as a decorative status symbols

ive seen that last anecdote a lot over the past couple of days which is why i was posting so much about it lol. unfortunately i can't be interested in it because it just annoys me so bad lol

while i know there is very little that tumblr likes to do more than take a snappy anecdote and run with it, when that anecdote is about something i know and care about it really has a derranging effect on me. the idea that there might have been times and reasons where you would prefer to have a sword eludes them. AND they can't fully articulate why spears often are advantaged over swords once they run out of canned lines.
