“Your Majesty.” Alexandre stepped into the doorway, bowing low to his queen. He slipped into the room. “A letter, ma’am,” he said as he closed the door behind him, brown eyes remaining on her- in case anyone happened to pass the room. Something in his posture softened at the shut of the door, barely notable to those who did not know him dearly. Tension leaving muscles that had spent decades being trained.
“Are you well?” He asked Elsa. So many in her home, so much more than usual to attend to. It was enough people to make him uncomfortable- more threats to the family than he had ever dealt with before. Crowded halls, filled rooms, nobles, staff, and servants every where he looked.
