I wish I could drown you out, rip you out. But you’re in my veins, you’re in my heart. My clothes stopped smelling like you only a few days after. My body stopped remembering the feeling of your hugs. And eventually my heart stopped knowing you. You used to be in my dreams and in my tears and my doodles in class but now you’re in every last word that I spit through gritted teeth when you walk by and I can’t fucking stand the way you stare at the ground at the sight of me. I’m still wondering where the fuck you went and why the sun goes down at 5 now because guess what, summer is over. And summer took all the good I had left in me.
