You should just be able to go into the program files and copy/paste the ‘save’ folder like you can with any other games. Make sure you don’t have any hidden files if you can’t see it

It's not quite that clear.

The path I took was program files x86 > Steam > steamapps > common > Outlast > and then there's nothing that seems to obviously contain the save files.

You can spawn the journal with console codes if you’re playing on the PC
