I was at portcon today! As Melissa, of course.

To anyone going to PortConMaine 2019 Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, this is my cosplay. I’m entering in the cosplay craftsmanship contest as well as participating in the masquerade. (Thursday I have a inflatable T-Rex so I don’t wear out this costume as much)

It took well over 150 hours, if you were curious. The eyes light up but they’re pretty dim, so they’ll be used for night photos probably. There’s also two speakers in my shoulder pads and sound effects controlled via bluetooth phone.

This’ll be my first anime convention ever so I’m hoping to make some new friends and show off my work! See you guys there!
