So I've got my second shunt last Tuesday, a vp shunt. Was not feeling well the days after, that's why I haven't post anything. Still not feeling great, very nauseas. Also my port a cath stopped working yesterday. It does that very often, and most of the time needle change will fix it, but this time it didn't. So I've had a chest X-ray to see if it's still in the right place, so they think it's clogged up. Have another surgery Monday to get a new one in, because I can't go without it. I literally have no veins left and when my potassium and or phosphate levels drop I need a quick access for iv meds and blood work. Why, just for once, should everything work out fine the first time. I really can't handle this anymore. #portacath #portacathsurgery #portproblems #vpshunt #lpshunt #intracranialhypertension #kidneydisease #kidneyfailure #hypokalemia #hypophosphatemia #justshootme #canthandlethisanymore #nauseas #surgery #emergencysurgery #brainsurgery #cloggedport #venousaccessport (bij Isala Ziekenhuis Zwolle)
