I finally made a custom portrait for my Living One by splicing various vanilla portraits together + some manual fiddling~ (This post was a great help to me in implementing the portrait into the game)

#off topic #OC: Ri'an Mal'los #portrait edit #arcanum: of steamworks and magick obscura #i tried so hard to make some semblance to her braid bun as i could on a tiny 128x128 canvas (64x64 pixels in-game)#also am realizing some spots i went too broad on the desaturation tool now that i've blown up the image for posting purposes #but it's practically unnoticeable in-game so i ain't gonna bother fixing it #this isn't the most perfect representation of how i'd imagine Rí'an to look in Arcanum's more realistic art style #(i'd give her a more angular jawline and less painted lips if i had the skills)#but it's already helping my immersion a ton more than the vanilla portraits I originally used in my first 2 runs #ignore my terrible stat distribution i usually cheat them to max after i leave the intro cutscene with the UAP debug ring
