The books are all standalones but there are times when the characters from other books interact with the leads in a given book. Definitely adds to the fun of reading them! ✨𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰✨ This has got to be my favorite among the all the books in the Contemporary Mythos so far. I never thought that I would be swept aways this much by Poseidon’s story, but I loved it as much as I did Hades’. I love how this one has a pretty fast pace, but the storyline didn’t suffer for it. It also took on a different route in the love interest bit from the earlier books, which I highly appreciated and enjoyed. As with the earlier installments, I love the little cameos we get from the characters in the next book. I didn’t know that Zeus’ installment was next, but I luckily guessed it when I looked at the earlier ones🥰 Carly Spade has been on my radar for quite some time and falling into her books with this series was definitely a treat! Can’t wait to read what’s in store for the King of the Gods on the next book!
