Out of all the powers Sylar has currently collected, which ones does he favor the most? And which ones is he actively seeking out?
First and foremost, sorry this is so late. I’m glad you asked though. Since Sylar has amassed so many different powers, one might think it’d be difficult to pick his favorite, but actually, the ability he didn’t have to take is his favorite one. Intuitive Aptitude, as Chadra Suresh referred to it, is the ability that allows him to take other abilities. It might also be the reason he is so talented at fixing watches as he quite literally can figure out what makes things tick.
However, if he had to choose amongst the abilities he has stolen/taken, it would most likely be Eric Doyle’s ability of “puppet master” or “puppetting.” To me personally, this ability seems very similar to blood manipulation in that by controlling the flow of a person’s blood, you can also control their movements. This ability is probably one of the more sadistic abilities out there and Sylar has quite fun with it. It also can provide very useful in different situations.
As for abilities he’s actively searching for, his hunger, for the most part, does not allow him to have a preference for which abilities he will look for. If there’s a special out there with an ability, he will seek them out. So, basically, whichever abilities he does not already have, he wants. Granted if it’s not a useful power, he’ll be less likely to want it, but generally speaking, he wants any power that he does not already have.
