I've been a part-time reseller for over 10 years. I got my start on eBay selling stuff here and there but got really serious once Poshmark got really popular (around 2016).

I am currently selling on a handful of apps such as Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, Etsy, eBay, Kidizen, and Grailed.

You can find me on all reselling platforms as RecycledWears or everywhere else (Instagram/YouTube) as Jackie Spania.

I like to keep up with selling trends by seeing what the people are wearing whenever I go out, listening to reseller podcasts, watching YouTube hauls/what sold vids, checking out Instagram posts, and reading blogs.

5 Tips for Being Successful on Poshmark

Be active on the app.

1. Share your closet 4+ times a day. (Share your closet every hour every day if you can).

2. Share other ppls listings and follow other closets daily.

3. List new items or relist frequently.

4. The more items you have listed the better.

5. Make sure your pictures, titles, and descriptions are good!

a. Take clear & detailed pics (Blurry & dark pics will not sell well or won't sell for what you want).

b. Use keywords in your title. (Instead of putting "Dress", include the Brand, Item Detail/Color, Type of event, Size. Example: (Anthropologie Lace Form Fitting Black Party Dress Sz L)

c. Provide details in your descriptions. Keywords are your friends. Include the title and add to it. I've found it helpful to add basic measurements. (Chest, sleeve, length, etc.)

The “Reserved” mark appears on the Poshmark when a buyer is currently on their way to buy the product. It helps the buyer and seller understand an item’s real-time update.
