A very special repost from @houseoflashes ✨Happy Juneteenth ❤️ Black history = American history. As we are celebrating this important date, get to know a very special black influencer in our community, @queenofblending ⬇️✨ "Hello, my name is Lauren! Also known as “Queen of Blending” since starting out in 2004. It all began on MySpace makeup groups and evolved into becoming a professional makeup artist and YouTuber! During that time my friend and fellow MUA introduced me to these amazing lashes from a friend who was working on developing lashes, just in it’s very early stages. I told her, “these lashes are amazing and need to be sold ASAP! People are going to love these!!” I ended up meeting with Jenn (CEO & Founder of HOL) for lunch and could not praise her lash design enough! People needed Noir Fairy! I became one of the first to use them in my YouTube tutorials and posts for social media. Watching HOL grow to what it is now has been incredible. They have always respected & supported my artistry, which means a lot, as a black/mixed woman of color. Which is continuously important to do, especially now as the BLM movement grows and progresses. Like House of Lashes, I encourage all to listen, read and learn. Stay educated, stay current, sign petitions and donate, if you’re able to! It is important that we continue to support black artists in our makeup community and lift up black-owned businesses as well. I want to thank HOL for the opportunity to share their platform and spread more awareness! Also in the pic I’m wearing #NoirFairy with #PoshNoir layered on top. Bottom lashes are #Precious" - @queenofblending 💖💖💖💖you guys @houseoflashes !!!!!!! #happyjuneteenth #juneteenth (at Pasadena, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/CBoe0zgnkOu/?igshid=gzv225fmy1ag
