pos hour: i got a new (to me) flannel at goodwill and i wore it for the first time today and it was super comfy plus someone told me i looked cute :)

Positive hour: last night at my 21st birthday dinner I had the best night I’ve had in a really long time it was so great to see family and friends I hadn’t seen in a while, it was so much fun and after my kids and some of the other guests left my younger sister who is only 11 months younger, my parents and my uncle took me out for a couple of drinks with some family friends and my fiancé and it was just an amazing night

Pos hour: I wore heels for the first time after breaking up with my emotionally abusive ex that wouldn’t let me wear them Bc I was taller than him and it felt so good!! I’m still trying to work through my damage from that but that was actually a really big step Bc I hadn’t worn those shoes in a year since he made me put them away :/
i’m so proud of you for reading that step! that sort of healing absolutely takes time and isn’t linear. keep pushing. you’re doing great. 💗💗
