I went to pride for the first time today and I had SO much fun even though it was raining! It felt so validating to have people look at my trans pride flag and ask for my pronouns and it was amazing to be around so many people covered in glitter and rainbows

positivity hour: I had a sleepover with my friends last night and for the first time in a while it felt like I was enough. Most days I don’t even talk much because I feel annoying, but I’m finally learning to take up as much space as I deserve. My voice is powerful and can have such a positive impact on people. anyways... self love is always a battle. slowly stepping into the daylight ;) ☀️

last night my family went to a big festival in Providence with music, food trucks, etc. We've gone before but it was so much fun, we had so much good food, and i even ended up running into one of my best friends. there are also a lot of elements that are affiliated with pride and there was a street filled with bubbles that we had a ridiculous amount of fun with hehe:) and today my dad and i went for a long walk and spent some time on the beach, 10/10 weekend!

positivity hour - I grew up in a really conservative family in the Bible Belt, and only have one brother who shares the same beliefs I do. He and his family are in town for ten days, and it’s so nice having family who is supportive of me!
omg i FEEL YOU ON THIS. so hard. (a good chunk of my family has changed to liberal now but a lot of them are still extremely conservative bible belters so i FEEL YOU. if you ever need to vent about close-minded family members HMU!!) anyways, that’s the BEST!!! i’m so glad you have someone so close to you and that you can spend some quality time with him :)
