4. Vintage Fashion / Customised Clothing
The vintage fashion and retro 1960′s looks really inspire me due to how different they can be. Some areas highlight gorgeous makeup with pretty pinks and large sunglasses, and the other side is ripped tights, leather jackets, cigarettes and red lipstick. This is why this component is majorly important to my magazine as this specific area highlights both meanings of my title “Pretty Riot”. Another reason I like the customised garments is the fact that you can make an item completely unique even though you didn't sew it from scratch. The badges and embroidery patches were also a large trend back in the 60′s and 70′s which is now coming back as a trending piece of fashion. I have researched this thoroughly and how to design and produce my own outfit which has been customised including jeans, a denim jacket, a tshirt and a pair of shoes. This may be through the use of badges, patches and even iron on designs. This would be an addition to my magazine in terms of my final hand in and exhibition space where this perhaps may be branded with the logo of Pretty Riot or creating Pretty Riot stickers to go on the hangers.
HE DIDN'T WANT TO POUT 😭
