210725 📚 a productive day

Today was a super productive day for me and I'm so glad I was able to do everything I had in mind, after spending the whole week ignoring my exams (lol)

The zoology exam last week did NOT go as planned and I was very disappointed, so I took a break and focused on my webcomic. I managed to complete the prologue and storyboard the first 3 chapters, which I started inking today ✒️

After lunch I got back to zoology and studied the flat worms lecture (yay, cuuuute), then I went to a library I love near my uni and just checked some books!

Really wish everyday was like this 🌿 but it's true that sometimes we really just need to rest for a while.

140725 🌱 day before the exam

Trying to stay positive while reviewing for my zoology exam tomorrow. Thankfully I'm pretty chill, I know I studied well and I remember almost everything.

Right now I'm just rereading some notes, highliting in red and green to see what I need to revise before jumping into the big review process which is repeating everything out loud and making some outlines of all the topics 🐌

Here we go again with another zoology lecture, this time I'm studying Molluscs 🫶🏻

In the pics you can see I'm focusing on Bivalvia. I'm comparing the pics in my book with real shells I found years ago.** Taking what you're learning outside of the book/pc and applying it in real life will be helpful to memorize stuff and understand the subject better 🌊

**Disclaimer: please do not collect shells from beaches, since they are important for other organisms that might use them and need them more then you do. I definitely learned my lessons over the year!

Yes, you might still take one with you and nothing will happen, but do not be greedy and take every shell you see.

Spent a few hours at the library to study zoology. Finally started learning about hexapods 🐝

Quit my job yesterday, to try and prioritize university! I'm relieved and happy that I can get back to attend lectures ❤️‍🩹 I basically lost my whole second year, and I'm going to start again in september. I'll spend the summer trying to take some first year exams I left behind like zoology 2 and organic chemistry 💭

Unfortunately though, I still have to work and I already found another job that will start in june, but the good news is that I'll only work late in the evenings so this time I might actually handle the whole work+uni situation better 🙏🏻 We'll see!
