Lefty Keyz introducing a new release: Living Right (featuring OuttDee)

May 2022 – Lefty Keyz is definitely not your average hip-hop producer. His music is a lot more diverse than what you might expect from artists in this particular niche, often stretching the boundaries of his creativity in order to incorporate a much broader range of influences and sonic aesthetics. Lefty’s most recent studio effort, “Living Right”, is actually a fantastic example of this. 

The song features Chicago’s very own OuttDee, who is an outstanding lyrist and collaborator for this particular release. The chemistry between the two is on fire, and this track is catchy and energetic from the get-go. This new release combines the lush sound of modern hip-hop with the energy of the old-school scene, resulting in a fresh and kaleidoscopic sound. The song has an immersive introduction, and the arrangement is articulate, yet refreshingly back to basics, highlighting the producer's “less is more” attitude and his ability to create a strong emotional connection with the listeners without necessarily relying on excessive studio frills and trickery. OuttDee definitely came correct making an impact with the sheer power of a genuine vocal delivery, and lyrics that are filled with truth and realness. This release feels like a very honest and impactful representation of the artist’s sound and the possibilities are truly endless.

This brand-new release comes highly recommended to any fan of artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, and Nas, only to mention a few. However, what makes this artist/producer so unique is the fact that he really cares about righteousness. His goal in life is to put out quality music that will inspire people; changing many hearts and minds along the way. This is why he prefers clean music and avoids the usual cliches of the genre, in favor of a more genuine, articulate, and personal sound.
