Good news from the beginning of February 2026

After being burnt out for a long time, I've been writing almost every day now. Sometimes it's rping, other times it's journaling, but I've been writing more in the last few weeks than I have in years.

Have had a tough morning with my OCD but have noticed I had a lot more compassion and patience with myself than before and that is something I will remain proud of the rest of the day, I opened the window and sat and looked at the sky this morning and it made me cry because I very rarely am able to take things in and appreciate them and this morning even though im struggling I was able to do just that.

I just had a very wholesome interaction with a bug.

It was hovering near my closed window and I was like oh you poor thing and then it sort of came up to me like “hey please could you let me out” and I was like no problem so I opened up my window and it hovered a little before heading out like “thanks man” and I went like “there we go lil buddy” and then I closed the window again and I was hit with how wholesome that interaction was. I bet that bug is gonna go up to its little bug friends and go like “hey the most kind human let me out of a window today” and we’re both thinking about how wholesome our interaction was and it makes my heart warm!!
