Hiii, i was wondering if you have any plans on updating & eventually finishing Possession. I love that fic but i've been on a break from the fandom stuff for awhile and i don't know if people are still active.

Hey! Welcome back!

Believe it or not I am always working on Possession. But in a very slow pace since my inspiration is a bit low and I don’t have much time to devote to my writing in general. I am not making any promises but I do have plans yes. Admittedly given how much of a mess I am at updating my stories I’d say that these plans may take years and no one will even bother when I do update but I am still here yes.

Some times there are just some reviews that take away every desire I have to write fanfiction. 

To answer to my last lovely guest reviewer:

No sweetheart. I am not a snob and I do not like people begging me to update. Like seriously? Begging me for what? Me expecting others to beg me...FOR WHAT? Some people really should get a life that doesn’t revolve around such nonsense.

In the end this is just fanfiction. I am just a fangirl like every other fan that happens to like a ship and writes about it. I don’t expect anything from people. I am not that entitled and fyi others are not entitled when it comes to my writing either. I write first and foremost for me and I owe no one anything. And if I do it is to kind respectful people.

So overall. I lack time, inspiration and I am not always in sync with the ship to the level it takes for me to actually write about it especially after everything that happened in the canon of the shows and outside of it. 

If you disagree with me, you don’t like me, consider me a snob or whatever here’s an idea. Don’t read my story, don’t bother, move on, write your own stuff in the rate and rhythm you prefer.

Writing and reading fanfiction is meant to be fun and a way to engage positively with the things I love and other fans. If this stops being fun (mostly by people like you) then guess what...my mood to write diminishes way more.

I wish I had the time and most of all the mood to write anything right now. I have written 1/3 of the next chapter but I am in a situation right now that I am going between feeling exhausted to angry to depressed (nothing to do with Klaroline unfortunately because I would take that “calamity” over other certain things any time of the day) so I can’t make any promises. What I can say though is that I may be a terrible updater but I am not letting go of my stories just yet.

I don’t know. I am very busy with work lately. So I don’t have the time to write. But we’ll see.

Thats what i am looking forward to see. Klaus falling for Caroline. Klaus has many demons, past memories and current events to fight. He is very dark and a very complicated character so for me its interesting to see how Caroline will change that.

Who’s to say it won’t be Klaus changing Caroline though?

I went to check that review and idk but i am happy you didnt just throw KC together. The plot is so realistic and i think it wouldn't make sense for both character to fall in love in such short time. Some steps need to be taken first. Like getting to really know each other. Only then trust will come and true feelings will start to develop. You are doing an amazing job so far.

And in all fairness, trolls aside, I understand those readers that prefer a more light story and a faster pace and their fanfiction to be all about smut. And yeah I am a terrible updater which is something I know. But here is the thing. This is fanfiction. You are not wasting any money to read and you are not earning any money to write it. You are not forced to read and I am not forced to write. I don’t and can’t force you to read my story and no one can force me to write (either at the pace they want or in the way they want or to write what they want...I mean if you want something specific go write your own story you know?). In fanfiction you have choices and if you do not like a story you can always simply go read something else. It is that easy. Especially in a big fandom like Klaroline that has so many options and stories.

This is still my story and either it is good or bad it is still mine. I will write what expresses me and I will share it with people hoping that there will be some that will like what I write and the story I have to tell. Life gets in the way of hobbies and when time is limited and inspiration runs low then many stories are left incomplete and others get updated at a very slow pace, unfortunately. I am not going to apologize for that. If I feel bad or even guilty is always towards the kind people that always approach me with respect and with kindness and understanding. And surely I am not wasting anyone’s time here. If someone does not like my story then simply they don’t have to read. Trust me…I don’t mind LOL.

And honestly, I feel more comfortable the way I write my story. It is not perfect. It has so many issues. But I feel good when I write it and it takes my mind off things. It is a way of expression. Including the way, I am choosing for the story to progress and for the characters and dynamics to develop. And some people will like that and others will not. It is all good. 

I guess I am just lucky to have people like you reading my story and enjoying it so far. So truly…thank you!

Is there a chance for a Kol/Caroline friendship? I always loved the dynamic these two could bring.

If the opportunity comes up, sure. For now, I have outlined the plot for the next chapters and it is focused more on giving Klaus and Caroline a chance and centering on their dynamic. And it leads to something very specific so we shall see how that will work out.

Are we going to find more about Tatia and the whole situation between her, Klaus and Elijah? The scene you wrote was very interesting.
