Editing Process:

For this edit, I mainly just adjusted the sound levels in accordance with the audience feedback for my first draft. I increased the volume of The Rant to 11 dB, and The Confession to 12 dB. I also decreased the volume of the first two shots to -28 dB, so the diegetic sound was still there but it wasn’t as overpowering, with the drone in the background now inaudible. I also used a fade-out affect on the second shot so the silence of the third shot wouldn’t be so abrupt. And finally, I removed the diegetic sound from the final shot; I did this because the diegetic sound was interrupting and obscuring the monologue on top of it.

Another edit I did was shortening the length of the first and second shot to closer meet my limited run time. I did this with the POV shot of the ring as well but mainly because I previously received some verbal feedback from my family that the shot was too long.
