Post Overalls Opens Outlet on Ebay
One of my favorite, most consistent brands is Post Overalls. Designer Takeshi Ohfuchi’s heavily vintage-influenced, straightforward line puts out practical, easy to wear clothes in solid fabrics year after year after year, always made in U.S. factories. There’s usually a decent amount of Post stuff on ebay, and the brand recently opened an ebay storefront selling (so far) mostly new old stock seconds--that is, stuff that wasn’t quite right. From the initial drop, which includes wool peacoats and deck-style jackets in navy, I don’t see any major flaws in the pieces for sale. Prices are good, and there’s a nice range of sizes (sometimes hard to find XL fits in this sort of stuff).

Post Overalls
I have been on a mission to find some offbeat workwear, and this chambray workshirt from Post Overalls is exactly what I was looking for. Price, even on sale, is a little out of reach, but man, Japan just nails the vibe here.
I love the left pocket and how it adds just enough visual interest while still blending in nicely - sometimes with the repro pockets, it gets out of hand, even if it’s still awesome (looking at you, Engineered Garments). Really cuts through the chaff in a sea of standard dual flap pockets (looking at you, J. Crew).
Find it at END here.
