We Were Free - The Stanley Parable animation
(audio link // music link)
I love post parable aus where the Narrator and Stanley escape, but Narrator still has inhuman features. The more I think about it, the more I'm like, "Oh my god, this would be so silly :3"
Day 13: Freedom
Personal au lore thing.
If Stanley escaped the parable through being resurrected in the hospital or whatever.
I decided to redraw the redraw @decomposten did of their first post cus thanks to that swag art I got to meet such cool artist,,, you so cool YOU SO METAL,,,,,

I IMPROVED
(At least I guess I did-)
Trying new things one at a time
the gays will gay
A letter from the former 432 appears from the outside world. How it got there is unknown. It reads. ' to whoever finds this. I hope you're doing well. I don't know how I escaped but I did and I did not do it alone. I am with James and I feel.. whole. I'm sorry I couldn't say goodbye or take anyone else with me. Good luck in there. I hope we see each other some day.'
Stanley reads the letter, a wistful smile playing at the corners of his mouth. He is happy to hear from his old friend, to hear they made it out and were able to find their place in the world.
He wishes he could write back and let him know that things are looking better these days for him as well. The Narrator stopped harassing employees and they found friends within the Office, new ones and old reunited.
As far as endings go, he thinks it's adequate. He hasn't restarted in months.
Stanley tucks the letter somewhere he won't lose it and sends quiet wishes to where ever Jim and James are now. Perhaps they will see each other again some day.
