Trees (Post Snow). Christopher Citro
Backyard survey. Several days of rain have made for a lot less snow. There’s just one branch on the butterfly bush that’s clearly broken and as soon as we get a decent break in the rain, it will be easy to saw that bit off.
This is a huge chunk of the strawberry patch, and after days of snow cover, everything looks as I would otherwise expect for this time of year.
I can tell all the hyacinth are just waiting for a bit of milder weather to do their thing. Leaves were sprouting right before that first snow. That’s my traditional first spring flower in the yard. I get both big pink blossoms and the ‘grape’ varietal.
