Teleporting into the past was usually a very easy thing to do and not something he messes up often. Usually the only mess up was really trying to get the correct time and not go too far in the past. Today it was a bit more than just not going back far enough.
This time he also ended up going inside of something in his landing. Something he never thought possible [but honestly was pretty glad since it was so cool!]
That being, the inside of a system. A system with programs running about. A system and... on top of a program.
“Sorry man!” Seikuu quickly called out before stumbling off the poor program he landed on. Reaching out to his arm to help him up. “You alright?”
It wasn’t at first but more as he reached for him did Seikuu notice his colors, his lines, his world around him soon after.
There was always the question about what was going on with this whole disguise, isn’t there? A sudden random person of unknown origins to anyone who was in the past.
How does someone know one knows, who has done nothing that anyone knows about, be a “Kamen Rider”?
Eclipse called himself a Kamen Rider from the get-go. No questions asked. ‘I am a Kamen Rider.’ It was as simple as that. But really, is the title so easy to hand out? Even in a situation where it is technically true.
Eclipse, and in return Seikuu, did fight for others at the drop of a hat. He did fight risking his own life quite freely and defended those who needed it. Even fought the same kind of evil group that his seniors and the juniors after do, but does that really mean he’s allowed such a prominent title?
It seemed getting mixed up with Hongo Takeshi and Jin Keisuke was now really going to prove it one way or another as his ‘Rider-ship’ was in question.
“Keisuke,” Hongou started as he looked over the younger man with his two-toned hair “this is the person you spoke of who you ran across by chance?” The question was simple, mostly relaxed, though a little on edge by any who might know him. After all, he was concern about some random person who came out of no where who fought an evil organization not a single one of the Riders currently active even noticed was existing. [Even with all their travels across the different countries, they should have noticed something right?]
Watching the two seniors, the young cyborg took a single deep breath. Nerves growing ever so much. He could feel the tension of the moment. After all, most of his existence was lies up to this point and the lies kept having to come out. It just meant now he was terrified that he might have fucked up his history.
Just because one can time travel, doesn’t mean they can freely just bounce around and not worry about screwing things up. Messing with things is always something that should be top priority.
That’s exactly why Seikuu is currently terrified for their very existence with the fact that he is currently standing face to face with the person who made them a cyborg, 38 years before he was supposed to meet him.
Okay, okay, things started out very normal. Go back in time, wearing the disguise, be Seikuu and everything’s good. Start lookin’ for some evil people to crush and pretend to be the Rider who saved that era, fine fair easy. But Keisuke wasn’t supposed to be around.
I thought Keisuke was supposed to be overseas during this time? Did I happen to pick the lowly little time he’s back in Japan for my trip this time or something? Does the world hate me? I’m not supposed to meet him yet and he’ll recognize his own tech if I get hurt! What do I do?
You gotta play it cool. Play it cool. Relax. Relax. Everything will be okay. You just gotta pretend you don’t know him and it’ll be fin--
There was a time and place for everything and right now this was not feeling like the right time or place. Sure it didn’t help that they were quite a literal time traveler so that means it could quite honestly be a literal issue, but this time it just felt like it was their bad luck hitting them square in the face. Again.
Quite literally square in the face, or should I say round in the face, as a ball of paper flew from someone’s hand and landed right into the face of the American deweb who didn’t notice it coming. Sure, super hearing might me xe could dodge something if xe heard it, but it was hard for xem to notice the sound of a paper ball when a bell kept going off making xyr attention be more on covering xyr hears than dodging an incoming flying object that didn’t belong.
Dazed as can be from bell and ball, Rorry soon found xemself now in the worst situation a social anxiety person could have: running into a stranger while in this state of confusion.
Trying to get a handle xe went and tried to bow and apologize, “I-I’m sorry didn’ mean to hit you. Forgive me it’s my fault. I wasn’t paying any attention--..” Sure a little overly apologetic but that kind of thing can happen when everything feels against you in a single moment.
Traveling had it’s perks, after all, it let you see the whole world. Sure, traveling was more business than pleasure for the rider. Traveling to make sure people were safe from any organizations that tried to stop the peace the Earth at least tried to keep.
But Traveling also came with risks, like the one Seikuu was currently facing. That was the issue of loosing their baggage during the plane ride and with it went all his fake– his official and totally real identification. Not to mention the return tickets.
A cringe and a look of concern, but he had to accept he was screwed and tried to move on. Maybe someone else got it instead? Maybe it was a total mistake and a mess up. He couldn’t been the only one coming from the US to Japan with a gray suitcase could he?
Looking around the airport, quite attentively at everything, for any signs of something that could be the missing luggage of the poor cyborg. Ahh where could that be?
Time travel and everything had it’s perks but it also had it’s flaws. It still meant that the Rider was going to have to make proof in the year 1977 that he existed in that time if he wanted to have any hope of his plan working. He needed to befriend someone in the past and request them to help spread rumors of his existence and the ‘things’ he accomplished in those days.
Guess that means going into the past and trying to find someone who seemed nice enough to help out someone with a very awkward and unique need.
Dawning his disguise as Seikuu and making sure he looked well enough, the guy traveled back into the year 1977 for a little adventure of time manipulation. Hopefully someone would be good for this task. There gotta be someone. If in the past there were cyborgs and weird space organizations and things like that, finding someone who’d help a cyborg find his spot in history shouldn’t be too hard to do!
With that he started his trek, crystal wolf by his side walking next to him proudly and happily, in case anything happened. At least the wolf would bring attention to himself in a way that might help him find a good match? Maybe? At least he hoped it would, either way that wolf was definitely not leaving his side.
“What do you think Wolf.” Seikuu started as a hand reached across to pet his partner’s smooth head. “Think we’ll find anyone who’ll help me out with this lil’ issue I need help fixin’? Maybe?”
It was only an image. A single image. It was of a man bound to a table and wires coming from his head into a machine. It was a single image but it was obvious, as if xe just knew, what was going on.
Though xe never saw him before xe knew instantly that the man was named Jin Keisuke and was supposed to be a Kamen Rider just like xyrself. A Rider from years in the past. This was the moment, the exact moment when he stopped being a Kamen Rider and became a tool for evil. A tool of G.O.D.
Holding to xyr head xe had to question why. How. How did xe suddenly know this happened? How did xe suddenly know who he was and what was going on in that image and how did xe even get the image in the first place?
How was xe going to save him? that was the next question xe had. Rorry had to help the poor man. He seemed so nice in the memories that xe could feel overwhelm him. A nice, sweet, true Rider.. Xe needed to save him, xe needed to try.
Holding out a blue coloured ring with a clock on it xe sighed. “... I have to, try..”
Of course xe couldn’t just hurry back there! Xe had to prepare. Getting some books on Japanese, some supplies for food and otherwise in the most old fashion clothing and equipment xe could, Rorry made xyr way to the past. To xyr fate.
It started with a rush of memories, more so than just that one image. Enough to make the poor Rider dizzy and fall over in exhaustion, but the thoughts kept coming. As xe tried to read the signs for any idea where xe was, Rorry had no idea that the actions would be the undoing of xyr situation.
They were a few years too late and Great Leader was already well on his way to getting xem. More, Apollo Geist and his new toy was on their way to pick up a new pet.
“Apollo I have a new mission for you. It’d seem someone important has appeared and I need them captured and well cared for. No injuries, no harm in any manner. I need them treated like royalty. Take that new toy of yours along if you choose, just give them the best care. That child.. has a very important fate..” And with a whisper of that fate to his first appointed man Apollo soon left his side to do just that. He had a long work ahead of him, but now there was the thought.
“This will be a fine test for him.. Let’s see if this really is working out. Seems this ‘kid’ isn’t but a few years younger than him at most so it can’t be much harm..” Apollo couldn’t help but still be disgusted by the task he must do, but to Keisuke he went to convey his orders.
“In this location in Tokyo” Apollo started, handing off a paper with the address to the man along with a photo they got who knows how, “There is this person waiting. You might have to look for them. You need to capture them and bring them back without any harm, while you’re away I’ll have your mansion be prepared to house them.”
With a deep and disgusted sigh he added. “.. Treat them like royalty, as per the general commander’s orders.”
There was something about hanging around Japan that was relaxing and interesting in the times close to winter. It was probably more because the cicadas shut up and left the poor wanderer alone. [Sensitive ears are never fun.]
There was better stuff though about being in Japan and getting to run into an old friend. Not that old, but it was someone xe got to know and was happy to see again.
“Keisuke~!” Rorry happily called out, waving one of xyr arms in the air towards the man. Sometimes xe got way too excited to see a familiar face. It wasn’t much after calling that xe ran xyr way over to his side, pratically tackling him as xe jumped into his arms.
“Keisuke, it’s good to see you again!” Though spoken in English, since xe was back to being used to that tongue than Japanese [not that xe knew all that much of it yet], xe hoped Keisuke would not mind.
