Hwan had been startled by something at home, and his bunny insticts had prompted him to run away, as fast as he could, chaniging into a small bunny and hiding in a random flower pot, shivering in fear.

Hwan probably was being stupid, he was probably being overly nervous, there probably wasn’t any danger at all, but when the little bunny-person walked out of a shop, near a neighbourhood he had lived in for a while, residing in an alley in a cardboard box,

Now he lived in a house, and had put this behind him, so when he spotted someone that he thought he knew, and thought for sure he saw them looking back at him, his easily excitable fear-instinct made him run. He ran fast, very fast, and he wasn’t watching where he was going, his heart was beating as fast as only a bunny-heart could, and when he suddenly ran into someone, despite his small size, both he and the stranger crashed to the ground.

Hwan would normally have apologized immidiatly, but the idea of the man following him, who in reality wasn’t even following him, had placed itself in his mind. He cowered on the stranger, tears stinging in his eyes, and shaking uncontrollably.

It had been a while now since Hwan had been all the way out here by the bridge. Last he was here he had been homeless and skinny, wearing far too little clothing and trying to get food. Now he had even gotten a tummy, and his clothes were warm, and he was a completely different person.

He saw somebody familiar, all of a sudden, running over to him in excitement, bouncing on the spot. “Riley!” He beamed happily. “Hi! It’s been forever since I saw you.”
