Example of some basic post-processing.
Exposure -0.49 (helps increase contrast and stops it being as washed out, especially in the grass - don't want to increase green saturation to not take away from the subject)
Contrast +10 (to bring out the colours further)
Sharpening +55 (to make details finer)
Luminance smoothing +24 (to reduce the noise from the sharpening as well as from the original photo, which was taken at ISO800)
Red saturation shift +36, to bring out the Huntsman's jacket
I don't really know why I'm posting this. Just to get an idea of what I currently do post-production, I guess. It all changes dependant on what's happening - for example, printing them for the hunt using a laser on matte photo paper means that I ramp up the contrast, as this printing process tends to mute colour, while for printing smaller photos I can increase sharpness and not worry about the noise so much (for example).
