I saw someone else doing this challenge on my dash, and I figured, why not do it for some of my muses. I have picked Tama and Soojung for this challenge as I feel doing all of them would just murder my soul
Day 1: Describe your character's relationship with their mother or their father, or both. Was it good? Bad? Were they spoiled rotten, ignored? Do they still get along now, or no?
Tama:
In a way, Tama and his mother are very similar. He very much took most of his traits from her personality wise. Usually they see eye to eye, and there hasn’t been a lot of fighting between him and his mother. Even if she’s been worried about some of his decisions, she was always happy to observe that they didn’t seem to make anything bad happen for her son.
Tama was much more of a mother’s boy than a father’s boy. But this doesn’t mean his relationship to him was bad. They got along as well, allthough not as well as he and his mother. There were a fair few more arguments with him, and a lot more explosive ones at that. But they always made up in the end, and it hasn’t happened much since he was a teenager at this point.
Tama is very attached to his parents, and as they are beginning to get quite old now, he is afraid to lose them as they mean so much to him.
Soojung:
Soojung’s mother was not really the caring sort. She was a very materialistic woman, who wanted to have a lot of money and prestige. She was loving, in a sort of way, but that way always involved pampering in some way. In many ways, Soojung was spoiled by her, called pretty names and dressed in pretty dresses. Shown off to friends and family much like a lovely prize that had been won, but few kind words that weren’t superficial was told to the girl.
Her father on the other hand was a very kind and nurturing person. He took care of Soojung’s emotional needs, and she loved him very much. Her relationship with her mother took a huge hit when she left her father for another man and took all his money and property that he had earned, and worst of all, refused to let him see his daughter.
After she found out that her father was living in terrible conditions when she was old enough to go visit him, her relationship to her mother turned into one of hatred. And that is how it stands today as well
After having worked for a few days straight, Tama decided it was tie to take a break. He also had a bit to apologize for. He had been rather short with Donghyun last time he saw him, he had been so busy working he had’t payed any attention to his boyfriend, and now his guilt had built up high.
He turned off his work, after making sure hehad saved at least six times, and took a shower, changing his clothes, and drying his hair. He went out on his scooter, stopping by a store to buy some snacks Donghyun liked and some flowers, before driving up to his dorm and ringing the bell.
Having listened to Donghyun talk for a while, just letting him vent all of his thoughts. At the end, Tama leant over and hugged him, patting his back. “It’s gonna be okay, I’m sure of it.”
Leave a “Wed Me” in my ask, and I’ll write a drabble about our character under the subject of wedlock
Tama ran over to Donghyun, carrying a bg scrap book. “Okay, so I have some wedding ideas, like, we dont have to do any of this, this is just a suggestion--”
He opened the large, probably years old book, filled with color representations and church pictures and suits. And wedding cakes. And a few scetches for wedding invitations.
