Tancred’s “Something Else” sounds like an all-girl version of Sex Bomb-omb from Scott Pilgrim Saves The World. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

Joji’s “Slow Dancing in the Dark” is the perfect song for a drug-fueled self-pity party in a dark room at 3 am. If you’re a teenage girl.

Eminem’s album “Kamikaze”: a far cry from his recent releases as he returns to the early 2000′s. Songs across the list sound like that time: angry vocals and fast, clever lyrics. Some songs in the album fall flat, but this is one album you don’t want to miss. It’s an 8 out of 10.

Valley Queen: “Supergiant”

Valley Queen sounds like the lead singer of Florence and The Machine replaced the lead singer of Third Eye Blind in the 60′s. The songs sound like a drug-induced trip through the best parts of the era, with heavy guitar and distorted vocals that sound like they’re coming out of the other end of a gift wrapping paper roll.

Tessa Violet: “Crush”

Tessa Violet sounds about the same as every white 20-something girl trying to breakout in the music scene. “Crush” sounds like a bad GarageBand song thrown together in 10 minutes, using basic instrument loops over lyrics that sound like they came from a tween girl’s post-breakup sad journal.
