dear mom and dad,
my life hasn't been the same since moving out to henford onto the family farm. my first week there, i met the most incredible man in the world, and even though he was married at the time, we made it work. together we lived in two separate houses and have had three beautiful children together. now i run a big farm like i've always wanted, and have several farmhands on staff to help me. i'm a botanist, like you wanted me to be, but i'm also making plenty of income from the farm.
my husband, simon, left his previous wife due to incompatible life goals, but he loves me with his whole heart. we were surprised with two beautiful twins, maybird and holland, and then decided to round out our family with lovely little ida.
we took this photo on our farm when the twins were three and ida was about seven months old. it was from our "blooper reel" of that photo shoot but it wound up being my favorite. i have a copy hung on our corkboard.
i know you were worried about me moving out to the countryside alone but i love it here, and i'm confident in saying i've achieved my dreams and more. i couldn't imagine a happier life. thank you for allowing me this.
