How are we possibly already more than half way through August? I truly don’t think I comprehend how time works sometimes! 😂 . This year has been the strangest year to get my life in order- that’s for sure! Not that I wasn’t already working towards it but 2020 was going to be my years. Only onwards and upwards! Despite Covid and a #concussion i have still managed to remain on track. Post Concussive Syndrome is still effecting me in new and exciting ways (that’s a joke- it really isn’t fun at all) but I refuse to let things get me down. Hello Three Arrow’s fans! It’s been a while since I posted something…not because I have nothing to say. Because I do, I always have lots to say, but the key is saying something of significance to you. . . This small side business got put on the back burner during the #coronavirus shut down. While all the other small businesses in #oxfordcounty were finding ways to adjust to a new normal I had to personally disappear into the background. The month of February was a strange month for me. I started the process of separation from my husband and shortly after that I also sustained a second bad concussion (those two things are not related!). My first “bad” #concussion took me four months of recovery before I went back to work and that was with physio being able to be open. This concussion was set to take longer for recovery AND I was unable to access my chiropractor or a massage therapist in the mean time due to the shutdown and isolation. After a few months my brain felt a bit better but I struggled with bad vertigo. Once these businesses were able to finally open - I was able to get relief. I still deal with a bit of #postconcussivesyndrome but I think I am ready to get back to a bit of my own “normal”. Which, let’s be honest, if you know me you know that my normal isn’t normal at all! But I’ll save that for another post. For now I just wanted to say that I am back in Woodstock, I am doing well, and you can expect to see a lot more of me on this thing called instagram. I've developed a Post Concussive Syndrome migraine in November, the result of hitting my head on a vanity when I had a fall and had a car accident a week later last July. I have been receiving botox injections every 3 months to treat it (although it has never completely gone away). I had my 3rd round of injections about a month ago. Normally it takes about 2 weeks for it to kick in. This time I have not yet felt relief and at times it's actually worse. Today has been miserable.
