9 months have passed and it still feels unreal!

Meeting Taylor was a dream come true, and the most unexpected one, since she doesn’t follow me and I had never received a notice from her before this happened! I so wish I could have told her more more things about me, like how her music helped me so much to cope with my rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis and the hardships of living with a chronic illness, and how magical it was for me that she chose to meet me, and how I met the most wonderful friends because of her, and how much I respect and admire her for her talent and her strength. But I was in such shock that my mind went blank, so I hope that she gets to read this someday.

I'm sorry if I'm not one of the best fans that you could ever have. I haven't been popping from any of your social medias yet (not actually a fan of the platforms but I am doing my best 😊). I have only known you on 2008. I haven't bought any of your albums yet. I haven't collected the magazines you're in yet. I haven't searched for posters of you yet. I haven't purchased online any of your songs yet. I haven't acquired any of you merchs yet. I can't follow every tv and radio guestings that you have been. I couldn't save every picture of you that they captured. I haven't been to any of your concerts but I definitely cheered for you. I'm sorry but I never thought that I'd miss the chances. Awful, doesn't it? But I am where I am today because of the choices I made yesterday and the days before that. I said all this because this era seems different and I feel like I totally should said this now (or maybe I just know that I can now afford to want things).

There is nothing that I could boast (not even in making worthy edits for you) and you probably won't notice this but I think after a decade of watching you I owe you thank you's.

Thank you for moving me to write creatively. Thank you for inspiring to play an instrument. Thank you making me comfortable in myself. Thank you for saying that haters gonna hate. P.S. I would probably write you a handwritten letter after a decade again. And maybe if magic will work out, a decade after would be the time that I can finally see you up close and personal.
