mourn forever with me
With the stack of paper he had printed in one hand and tape in the other, Curtis stormed around the library putting them on every surface he could.
NO GABRIEL MORROW. No talking about him, no calling him, no writing about him. Ask for someone other than him if you need to call for police. GABRIEL IS NOT WELCOME IN THIS LIBRARY
Curtis had taken it upon himself to do this. The library was like a second home to Curtis, and he liked to feel safe in his home. He hadn’t actually talked to the other Liberians to see if it was okay, but seeing how he knew three of the four of them had bad experiences he thought he’d rather ask for forgiveness.
Taping the last sign to one of doors, he stood back with pride. “There, library is a safe space from him.”
