Hi! I just remembered you deleted the asks in your inbox so I'm gonna do take two! Just wanted to thank you for your lovely podcast and calling attention to Hephaestus!! As a disabled person, He really makes me feel like seen and represented and I probably wouldn't have known much about Him if I had never found your podcast! I can't really do much research on Him due to ableism being a major trigger of mine but I've started leaving some offerings like water and such! So just thank you!!!

Yeah, unfortunately, there is a lot of ableist language used when referring to Hephaestus which really sucks since it does prevent the disabled community from being able to research him more.

There needs to be an ableism-free guide to Hephaestus.

Anyway I'm glad you're leaving him offerings and getting to know him in your own way! Thats fantastic! <3
