Ryan is emo, and for fun, the Professor is scene, BUT they have to switch styles once in a while to keep the universe in balance because. I said so-

If I can join in on your debate: The fashion that Ryan wears typically leans into darker colors or straight up black, so emo leans closer to what he would actually wear. Plus considering everything that happened to him in Puppet History??? Let him be emo 💔💔🥀

Meanwhile, the Professor would be more suited towards scene fashion because, well, he already has the brightly-colored hair (and it's not even dyed, it's all natural babyyyyy), might as well go all the way :P Also I just think out of the two of them, the Professor would be more into it.
