A short thing I wrote last summer and never posted ❤️
To my future love:
I’ll be your Sarah if you’ll be my Brendon
I’ll be your Breezy if you’ll be my Dallon
I’ll be your Cas if you’ll be my Dean
I’ll be your Phil if you’ll be my Dan
I’ll be your best friend if you’ll be mine
(Besides my actual best friend, of course, but you’ll be second in line)
I’ll be there for you if you’ll be there for me
I’ll be the weirdo if you’ll be weird with me
I’ll be the fangirl if you know I’m your biggest fan
I’ll be the one to talk about you all day (you know I’m the only one who can)
I’ll be myself, if you’ll love me for it.
If you don’t, don’t think I’ll be anybody else.
I’ve waited long enough. If you don’t like who I am, I’ll just have to wait a bit longer.
Considering I'm actually posting now I should probably make an intro post..
Sighhh
me: a constant need for all the information is the folly of man also me:
i’m tired of the whole “don’t cis women all suffer under womanhood so the word cis is useless and denies female reality and is awful and irredeemable?” no. please stop being obtuse. (maybe because you hate the sensation of being described? much like straights don’t like being called straight. and thereby being part of a group that can be prejudiced.)
regardless of what goes on on this stupid site - and most of them saying this aren’t talking about the gender identities on here either, they’re talking about themselves and in relation to mtfs and ftms - cis isn’t a word to say you’re comfortable with the feminine gender roles put on you. Doy.
are you comfortable with being female and not male? would you reject it if asked whether you wanted to transition to male? are you okay being your sex, and are simply not okay with the sexism or feminine things that are placed upon female people, but you’re okay with actually being a woman? congratulations, you’re cis. cis literally means non-trans and nothing else. no evil implications, simply - non-trans.
please, please stop playing like you’re ignorant…as if ~evil transsexuals~ (usually mtfs) are brutishly painting a broad, insensitive, generalizing brush over women - “you don’t KNOW how we feel about being women!!” do you want to be that still (be a woman), at the end of the day? and not want to become something else, or want to have always been that? And it’s just a safe environment in which to be that to be what you are (a woman) that you wish for and want to create? you’re cis, just meaning you’re not a trans person. just…..simple.
the more I see of these "sissy" tvs/cds the more creeped out I am by them. and what's weirder is how much of a presence they have in trans places offline. Like, the trans groups I went to IRL were totally run by them. you'd think they'd be run by mtfs and ftms instead, but that was the case. And logically I see a reason or two for why: most transitioning trans people want to in some way simply make their life less about trans issues - going more under the radar about it, attempting to pass - and honestly just less wanting something that looks like a "community" for trans people, in the way that gay groups work (little get togethers and that level of involvement in them).
Whereas for tvs/cds, this is the only way that they'll be recognized as their cd persona, is by other tvs/cds in a space they meet together. and the only place they'll really be able to crossdress, because for them it's a full activity with no outlet anywhere else in their lives. which is also why the fervor, it's private, if they just let themselves be feminine men in their normal dress then it wouldn't be as much of a compartmentalized desire that gets pushed down into several days, which are then made more significant, because that's the only time they get to do it. But most of them have a sexual side to this as well, if not having that be the main reason they do it, so it's just inherently gonna be this side-project that they won't drag into the rest of their lives.
just another way an altered world would help literally everyone, even random creepy ass straight non-trans men... men never bothered trying to fight against and change strictness of gendered clothing for men the way that women did for women, so in a world where that was changed, things like this would be a little improved. maybe there'd still be this fetishism, but the intensity of these people would be different. they'd have less chance to fetishize femininity (and male wearing of that) and the concepts that go with womanhood, because being male and feminine wouldn't be this weird forbidden taboo thing that ultimately gets shunted right into either fetishism or gayness (which tbh are often seen as the same thing by straight world anyhow....)
I wanted to like the butchies, but I don't like their music style and they don't even make it likeable, because they sound as if they're always bored to even be there, and don't care about anything they're doing 100% of the way in order to do it - and if you're going to sound that unenthusiastic, then why even get at the mic
i saw a username that was a combination of baeddl and masturbating. why would you do this.
i guess i shouldn't be surprised because their little tumblr leader (b8*l)'s original username was “b8/bate and see straight,” which was about the same thing. but. still why what is the point. stupid.
