Michelle sat on the end of her bed, as she looked around her side of the room that she shared with Fiona, and nodded with approval. It wasn't as if her side had been that messy to start with, but years of conditioning had made her slightly anal about the state of her room, especially when she was expecting company. She had her parents to blame for that, just like every other aspect of her carefully thought out life. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair, wondering what they'd say if she ever came out to them. That would definitely throw a wrench in the works.

Moving across to the dual screens she had set up on the wall in front of her bed, she flicked the switches, waiting patiently as they turned on fully, before adjusting the connection between both TV's and her Xbox. Her fingers skimmed lightly across the games on her shelf, before stopping at Halo 4, grabbing the disc and inserting it into her console. She moved back to the bed and glanced at the clock, smiling as she noticed that Blair was technically coming over soon. New Year's Eve had been a weird night, but her favorite part hands down, was the fact that she had gotten a new friend out of it. Not only that but a nerdy new friend that was also her neighbor. Life was kind of awesome right now.
