Plans for October

So I plan to continue my project from last October, which was watching and posting about one horror/Halloween related film/story/TV show etc. each day. I called and tagged it October Project, and I will be reblogging my posts from last October on my horror blog on the same day they were written. This year I am calling and tagging it October Project II The Revenge. I will not be watching something everyday as I found myself watching shorter things as the project went on to be sure that I got a post in each day. That is one of the reasons I did a bunch of Treehouse of Horror episodes and other TV episodes. My plan is to post every day, but watch, read, etc. whenever I have time. So we will see how that works.

This will also become a Halloween/Horror blog for the next month, so fair warning. I may do a post on the new Dracula series and AHS: Coven pilot episode as they are coming out that month. But the idea is to still look at things from my childhood, things I have not seen and want to, or things that just strike my fancy.

Allow me to bid you welcome to my humble horror tumblr.

So this whole thing came about when I was writing a suggestion for the A Matter of Taste podcast one what topics they could do for future episodes. So I wrote a suggestion and rewrote it because I didn’t have room for all of my ideas, and it got thinking about horror topics that I would like to talk about. So I thought, why not make another tumblr solely for discussing and posting horror and supernatural related things. And so this tumblr was created. The name Ancient Logics and Cursed Frogurt comes from Cabin in the Woods and The Simpsons: Treehouse of Horror III.

So that is mostly it for now.

what i hate seeing on tumblr

-is the girls that reblog the post about how only pretty girls and who ever get likes, but the "regular" girls don't & they are better friends. smh it doesn't work like that-- i've seen plenty of girls & guys who don't think they are pretty/cute post pictures anyway.. you choose to feel that way..just b/c someone takes a "cute" picture doesn't mean they are a bitch they are just like anyone else. don't take your insecurities out on anyone & especially the ones who go anon and tell ppl how ugly they are
